Colour, Culture, Meaningful Design for Every Space

Illumina Design is an official exhibitor at Retail Show, presenting bespoke art and design solutions that celebrate colour, culture and connection.

Based in Western Australia, Illumina Design is a creative design studio dedicated to transforming commercial, residential and public spaces through handcrafted, meaningful design. Founded by creative director Sally Harding, the studio brings together global inspiration and strong local insight, infusing every project with artistic integrity, storytelling and a deep respect for place.

From retail and hospitality environments to public art, monuments and bespoke design installations, Illumina Design redefines how spaces are experienced—moving beyond functionality to create environments that inspire, connect and endure.

Where Craftsmanship Meets Culture and Place

Illumina Design creates one-of-a-kind, handcrafted pieces including vibrant glass tiles, mosaics, symbolic yarning circles, monuments, statues and architectural entrance statements. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and crafted to suit its specific environment, purpose and audience.

Working closely with Indigenous and local communities, Illumina Design delivers culturally respectful installations that honour heritage, memory and place. These collaborations ensure each project tells a meaningful story while creating long-lasting visual and emotional impact within the space it inhabits.

Tailored Design for Diverse Environments

Illumina Design’s work spans a wide range of settings, including commercial interiors, hospitality fit-outs, boardroom statement artworks, public monuments, sacred spaces and residential commissions. Every design is meticulously customised to enhance ambience, reinforce identity and create a strong sense of connection between people and place.

The studio’s portfolio includes major Indigenous public art installations, public monument restoration projects, bespoke mosaic artworks for commercial environments, and deeply meaningful works such as custom-designed memorial pieces and symbolic structures.

One of its most notable projects, Colour at Karrakatta Cemetery, transformed sacred spaces through a thoughtful infusion of colour—creating a harmonious balance between reverence and artistic expression within a serene setting.

Global Capability, Reliable Delivery

Illumina Design offers end-to-end design services, product manufacturing and international delivery. With its own glass and tile foundry, warehouse facilities and an established global supply chain, the studio is equipped to deliver bespoke projects on time and on budget—anywhere in the world.
